Associate Medical Director, Hospital Medicine, Newton Medical Center
Atlantic Health, one of New Jersey's largest non‑profit healthcare networks, is seeking an Associate Medical Director to join the Hospital Medicine group at Newton Medical Center and contribute to the expansion of our rapidly growing division.
ResponsibilitiesThe Associate Medical Director will work collaboratively with the Hospitalist Medicine Medical Director to oversee all aspects of the group's operational and clinical functions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation within the Hospital Medicine group.
- Supporting census assignments and assisting group physicians in challenging clinical situations.
- Contributing to conflict resolution and quality improvement initiatives.
- Board Eligible or Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey.
- At least five years of experience in hospital medicine, preferably in an academic medical center.
- Leadership experience preferred.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
$260,000 – $300,000 base salary only; excludes any quality and/or productivity incentives.
