Job Description
The Invasive Cardiovascular Tech (CVT/CVIS) is responsible for preparing and assisting with cardiac catheterizations, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), and various other interventional procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong hemodynamic monitoring skills and previous cardiac cath lab experience.
Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist in cardiac catheterizations, PCI (STEMI), and other procedures such as peripheral vascular, pacemaker, and interventional radiology procedures.

• Monitor, document, and calculate hemodynamic data during procedures.

• Provide procedural assistance to the physician before, during, and after procedures.

• Assess and manage access sites, informing the physician as necessary.

• Adhere to on-call protocols for the cath lab.

• Prepare patients for procedures.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current license as a Radiologic Technologist.

• RCIS certification preferred.

• BLS, ACLS, and IABP experience required.

• Direct and current cardiac cath lab experience, including scrub and monitor roles.
