Registered Nurse (RN) – Bristol Glen Senior Care Community, Newton, NJ

• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents.
• Perform nursing assessments regarding the resident’s health status.
• Develop care plans; attend and participate at care plan meetings as scheduled.
• Provide nursing documentation in EHR per standard nursing practices for each resident.
• Contribute to the resident’s assessment (MDS/RAP).
• Complete accident/incident reports on all incidents observed or reported on the shift.
• Recognize and assess changes in the resident’s physical condition early and notify the physician or licensed independent in a timely manner.
• Accurately receive, transcribe, and carry out physician orders.
• Collaborate with the resident, partners of healthcare, and when appropriate, the resident’s responsible parties.
• Consult with, utilize, and initiate referrals to appropriate community agencies and healthcare resources to provide continuity of care as per physician order.
• Administer and document medication, enteral nutrition, and treatment administration per the physician’s order and accurately record all care in the EHR. Adhere to the 6 rights of medication administration.
• Accountable for all narcotics on a shift; manage medication cart keys.
• Attend and participate in all scheduled mandatory trainings, educational in‑services, and complete annual Relias trainings timely.

• Education:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing.
  • BSN preferred.
• Prior long‑term care experience preferred.
• Current New Jersey or Compact Registered Nurse license.

$44.50 per hour.
