Traveling HVAC Installer Technician

Core Responsibilities- Installing and replacing components of entire systems of commercial cooling systems on cell tower cooling units
- Timely and accurate completion of daily reports
- Driving to remote work sites as needed
- Performing upgrades on out‑of‑season equipment
- Conducting performance checks as required
- 1 or more years experience with HVAC maintenance (commercial preferred)
- 1 or more year of construction experience will be considered in lieu of HVAC experience
- Experience with wall‑mounted Marv Air, Bard, and Marv Air DAC/WAC direct air‑cooling units highly preferred
- Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components including refrigeration systems
- Candidates should reside in the Newton, New Jersey area.
- Travel to remote work sites as needed. 80% travel required. Three weeks of travel are required at a time. A per diem of $50.00/night will be provided when traveling.
- Must be able to operate a phone, computer, and/or tablet.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and be able to pass a pre‑employment drug screen and background check.
- Must have the ability to inspect and/or troubleshoot equipment/alarms effectively, both visually and audibly.
- Must have the ability to be on call and travel for work when needed, especially during busy summer months.
- May need to pass DOT physical.
$18.00–$25.00 hourly/DOE. Base pay range: $18 USD–$25 USD. In addition to wages, employees may be eligible for performance and referral bonuses, production incentives, tool/equipment and fuel stipends, company vehicle, per diem or other applicable compensation. A comprehensive benefits package including health and life insurance, 401(k) with employer match, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and professional development courses is also offered.
