Job Summary
:
Home Care Agency Staffing Coordinator/Certified Nursing Assistant Supervisor is responsible for coordinating high volume Participant and Caregiver schedules, fielding a wide-variety of phone calls, general administrative tasks, assisting CNA’s/PCA’s/Housekeepers in the home setting, to ensure the tasks are being met for participants, able to make independent decisions when needed and having availability for On-Call duty. Oversees all administrative staff. Position reports directly to the Home Care Agency Supervisor.
Education
:
High School Education required; associate degree preferred
Experience
:
Minimum one year of employment in an office setting. Minimum one-year Supervisor experience.
Number and Type of Employees Supervised (optional): 10 or more CNA’s/PCA’s/Housekeepers/Administrative staff.
Licensure, Registry or Certification Required
: NC drivers’ licenses. RN or LPN required.
Special Training
:
Must be able to work effectively in a team environment. Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal skills. Be knowledgeable in multiline computer operations and phone systems as well as excellent writing and reporting skills. Have at least one-year experience with the frail elderly population.
Immunizations
:
Be medically cleared for communicable diseases and have all immunizations up to date before engaging in direct participant contact.
Ages Of Patients Rendered Care
:
Neonate/Infant Early Childhood Adolescent.
- Represents Senior TLC's Home Care Agency with accurate and comprehensive information as requested by guests / visitors and staff.
- Staffing Coordinator will be responsible for the development and coordination of participant and employee schedules.
- Ensures appropriate staffing patterns under the direction of the Agency Supervisor.
- Assists with staff development, training, and orientation.
- Supervises Home Care Agency CNAs under the direction of the Home Care Agency Supervisor.
- Knows about and consistently follows confidentiality and privacy policies and procedures.
- Makes independent decisions for the organization as needed and complies with all State regulations.
- Knowledgeable of all Senior TLC services.
- Assists with Chart Audits quarterly, receiving, investigating, and resolving complaints.
- Completes rounding's with CNAs/PCAs/Housekeeping/Administrative staff monthly.
- Assists with completing participant surveys to assess satisfaction.
- Participates in On-Call Duty after hours and on weekends.
- Assists Home Care Agency Supervisor with delegated tasks.
