Role PurposeInvolves the overall planning, implementation and optimization of activities and support required for the delivery of fiber optic cable to our business partners in the NA cable region. Primary areas of responsibility include fiber purchasing, inventory management and optimization, order dating, scheduling, supply chain related project work, and data analysis.
Key Responsibilities- Support NA regional production planning/master scheduling activities, including fiber procurement, order management, resource planning, delivery promising, and production forecasting and reporting of actual manufacturing results vs. plan.
- Coordinating plans and executing across NA regional fiber and cable plants.
- Optimize NA region finished goods, WIP, OOF, and fiber inventory.
- Support new system implementation projects and initiatives within Planning and Procurement.
- Work closely with plant supply chain and operations to establish short‑term and long‑term expectations and execution of the production plan.
- Communication with suppliers, submission of PO’s, monitoring of deliveries, expediting materials and resolving billing discrepancies as needed.
- Ensure compliance to the Global Buying Policy.
- Responsible for tactical procurement execution for assigned material, mainly fiber. Duties include communication to suppliers, submission of POs, ensuring on‑time delivery, daily FIS review, expediting materials, proper disposition of rejected material, and resolving billing discrepancies as needed.
- Minimum 3 years in Supply Chain or relevant experience with Bachelor’s Degree or minimum 5 years in Supply Chain.
- Ability to collaborate within a cross‑functional team and to achieve long‑term goals.
- Computer literate in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Industrial Engineering.
- Fiber and cable product knowledge.
- Understand aspects of inventory management.
- Strong SAP/ERP knowledge and experience.
- Direct manufacturing experience.
- APICs Certification.
- Previous experience in Optical Fiber or Cable manufacturing/planning.

The range for this position is $71,930.00 - $98,904.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job‑related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
