Electrical Maintenance Technician - Third Shift

Job Description:

• Comply with all company and departmental policies and procedures.
• Troubleshoot equipment downtime issues, focusing on electrical wiring, switches, sensors, etc., and support software packages and control documents.
• Diagnose PLC programs, drive and scanner issues, and work with HMI interfaces and graphics for better operator interaction.
• Manage control devices such as PG and laptops for troubleshooting.
• Recommend program actions to resolve major issues.
• Collaborate with maintenance technicians, vendors, and engineers to develop effective automated control systems.
• Ensure proper shutdown and startup procedures are followed.
• Troubleshoot robot issues and perform reteaching/touchups.
• Train maintenance personnel in corrective maintenance and electronic equipment installation.
• Assist with system access, backups, and data recovery for controls systems.
• Coordinate with vendors to resolve controls issues.
• Maintain safety certifications and adhere to OSHA, ISO standards.
• Report issues affecting Environment, Health, Safety, or Quality to management.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma and maintenance training/courses, or AS in controls technology or Journeyman Electrician.
• Siemens S7 programming experience required.
• 4+ years in manufacturing environment, preferably in automated production.
• 2-5 years in a Maintenance Technician role.

Skills:

• Teamwork, understanding of relay & PLC logic, mathematical and analytical skills, problem-solving, and ability to interpret technical instructions.
