Newtown Campus
The School of Arts and Communication is seeking a knowledgeable and committed part-time faculty member to join the Fine Arts Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ceramics and a passion for teaching in a higher education setting.
ResponsibilitiesTeach a fall ceramics course on Friday afternoons.
- Deliver instruction in ceramics using appropriate media, techniques, and equipment.
Master’s in Fine Arts Degree in ceramics, 3-D or Sculpture, or a closely related degree.
Must have working knowledge of ceramic media, techniques, and equipment.
Teaching experience with various ceramics techniques (hand building and wheel throwing), firing, and glazing; experience in higher education, community college students, and pedagogy.
Demonstrated ability to teach ceramics.
Studio management experience.
