Occupational Therapist – Part Time for Home Care
The role is for a Part‑time Occupational Therapist in far Northeast Philadelphia at Mercy Home Health / St. Mary Home Care. Candidates will work 3 days per week for a total of 24 hours.

Sign On Bonus
- $2,500 sign‑on bonus offered (pro‑rated for part time)
- Not applicable to internal employees, former employees who resigned in the last year, or hires sourced from outside firms.
Responsibilities
- Consult, evaluate, plan, and administer skilled Occupational Therapy services prescribed by a physician to homebound patients to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following illness, injury, surgery, or disease.
- Collaborate with inter‑disciplinary team members to assure patients’ needs are met and quality of care is achieved.
- When acting as the patient care manager, manage, oversee, and provide primary patient care delivery to a select group of patients supporting the patient‑centered care model, assuring quality and maintaining open communication.
- Interact with any and all members of the care group, both internal and external to the organization as needed.

Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved OT educational program (bachelor's or master's preferred)
- Licensure as an OT in the state of PA
- One (1) year experience as a professional therapist; home‑care experience is a plus
- Must have a current driver’s license and reliable transportation
- CPR certification required
