Salary Range: $17.00 To $19.00 Hourly

NORMAN'S, the premiere and fastest growing employee-owned Hallmark Gold Crown retailer in the East, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Distribution Center Associate to join our logistics team. In this role, you will handle multiple aspects of warehouse operations, ensuring that inventory flows smoothly from incoming freight trucks to our company stores. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, works well with a team, and maintains a strong commitment to workplace safety.

• Receiving & Unloading: Inspect, verify, and unload incoming shipments from vendors to ensure correct quantities and quality standards.
• Inventory & Storage: Organize and store stock to designated warehouse locations.
• Packing & Shipping: Securely pack items, wrap pallets, and assist loading merchandise onto company delivery trucks.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate material handling equipment such as electric pallet jacks, hand trucks, and dollies (forklift certification is a plus).
• Facility Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and debris-free work environment in alignment with company safety regulations.

• Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 pounds independently.
• Stamina to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours per shift).
• Capacity to perform repetitive movements, including bending, crouching, reaching, and twisting.
• Comfort working in warehouse environment with exposure to variable temperatures, dust, and moderate noise levels.

• Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is strongly preferred.
• Age: Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Experience: Prior experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
• Core Competencies: Strong attention to detail, strict compliance with safety guidelines, excellent time management, and a collaborative team attitude.
