A growing company in Newtown is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance team. If you’re looking for an opportunity to take ownership of financial reporting, support the month-end close process, and work closely with leadership, this could be an excellent next step in your career.
Location: Newtown, CT
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $30/hour
- Play a key role in the company’s accounting and financial reporting processes
- Partner with leadership and gain visibility across the organization
- Contribute to month-end close, reconciliations, and financial analysis
- Join a collaborative team with opportunities to expand your accounting expertise
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports
- Support month-end and year-end close activities
- Analyze financial data and assist with budgeting and audit preparation
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of Excel and accounting software
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
