The Client Service Representative contributes to the success of a high‑performing organization committed to delivering superior care and exceptional service. Performs a range of administrative and customer service tasks, providing valuable support to the hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Provides excellent customer service in‑person, over the phone, and during high‑stress situations.
- Manages lobby flow, addresses concerns, calms distressed owners, and schedules appointments.
- Handles basic medical emergencies for pets and owners, ensuring safety and well‑being.
- Assists with medication pickups, inquiries, and provides information about services and products.
- Inputs and manages data in practice management software, including billing and accounts.
- Assists with retail sales, weighs pets, processes faxes, and maintains records.
- Reconciles cash drawer and performs end‑of‑day duties for accurate financial transactions.
- Must have 2 or more years in a fast‑paced customer service role
- Must be able to manage multiple computer systems and phone lines
- Must be comfortable handling cash
- Preferred experience working in a veterinary setting, specifically emergency and specialty.
- Varied shifts, 5‑8hour shifts, 1 weekend day commitment
- Shifts vary from 7am‑3pm, 8am‑4pm, and 9am‑5pm
- One major and one minor holiday annually, scheduled based on seniority
