We’re seeking a Clinic Manager to join our growing team.
The Clinic Manager oversees clinic operations with support from the Doctor, including people management, driving growth, profitability and patient experience. They are responsible for achieving all profit and loss goals. Practice Directors participate in marketing activities to improve local brand reputation.
How You’ll Make Us Better- Partner with the Doctor to create a positive clinical culture, ensuring team behaviors reflect both clinical excellence and high patient care standards
- Lead by example with professionalism, integrity, and a positive demeanor, ensuring the office culture reflects company values
- Ensure clinic team is trained on and adopts new tools, protocols and initiatives
- Understand and monitor profit & loss (P&L) statements to achieve monthly goals
- Build relationships within the local dental community and participate in local marketing efforts
- Manage controllable costs including but not limited to labor hours and supplies
- Serve as a liaison between the Doctor and the team regarding work assignments and schedules, clinical priorities, and job performance
- Handle patient escalations to resolve in a mutually beneficial way
- Cover roles in the clinic when business demands
- Follow established protocols to ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA and State Dental Board regulations
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidential information
- Immediate proficiency with software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Internal Candidates: 2 years of clinic experience within Smile Doctors or affiliated practice clinic, High school diploma required
- External Candidates: 2 years of supervisory experience required, Orthodontic or dental experience preferred, High school diploma required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong coaching and conflict resolution skills
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed performance goals
- Strong time management skills with ability to multi‑task and prioritize work
