The Field Services Manager will oversee all field operations for our environmental laboratory, ensuring that sample collection, site assessments, and on‑site testing are conducted efficiently, safely, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Manage and lead the field services team, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Coordinate on‑site environmental sampling, inspections, and field‑testing activities.
• Ensure all field operations comply with federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding field operations and site‑specific needs.
• Collaborate with laboratory personnel to ensure proper handling, documentation, and transport of samples.
• Maintain and manage field equipment, vehicles, and supplies.
• Develop and implement safety protocols and standard operating procedures for field staff.
• Monitor project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Troubleshoot field issues and provide technical guidance to staff as needed.
• Prepare reports, documentation, and presentations for internal and client use.

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Biology, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental field services, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, sampling protocols, and laboratory procedures.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
• Proficiency with field data collection tools, GPS/GIS systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver’s license; willingness to travel to multiple field sites.

• Travel to and work at various field sites, including remote or outdoor locations.
• Walking, standing, bending, and climbing over uneven terrain or in confined spaces as needed.
• Lifting and carrying equipment, samples, and supplies (often up to 25–50 lbs).
• Handling sampling equipment, instruments, and lab materials safely and accurately.
• Operating company vehicles to transport staff and equipment to field sites.
• Working in various weather conditions, potentially including heat, cold, rain, or snow.
• Sustaining physical activity for extended periods during site assessments or sampling campaigns.
