Consultant – Obstetrics

Applications are invited for the post of Consultant in Obstetrics (10PA's) at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The post is substantive, available from 5th July 2026.

The post is designed to provide high‑quality clinical care to patients attending our obstetric department. This job is intended to improve the pathway for patients presenting to our service, particularly to the maternity triage areas and being admitted to the postnatal ward.

The post is associated with out‑of‑hours work, providing cover on call overnight as well as rently, this is part of a 17‑person rota.

The applicant must have demonstrable skills in listening, reading, writing and speaking in English that enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues, as set out in the GMC's Good Medical Practice (2013). Non‑UK applicants must possess the IELTS/OET exam before obtaining a GMC licence to practice.
