Teacher Active is proud to be working with Secondary Schools in Powys, who are looking to appoint dedicated and enthusiastic Qualified Teachers (QTS). The schools provide a welcoming and inclusive learning environment, with a strong emphasis on developing pupils' confidence, independence and academic achievement.

Teacher Active is looking to take on motivated Qualified Teachers on a temporary / permanent basis, with an immediate start available. The successful Qualified Teacher will support pupils across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing pupil progress and creating a positive learning environment that encourages all pupils to reach their full potential.

The successful Qualified Teacher will have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) recognised in Wales

Experience teaching within a Secondary School setting (desirable)

A strong understanding of the Curriculum for Wales and classroom expectations

The ability to plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners

Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills

Excellent communication and organisational skills

The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff

A flexible, patient and adaptable approach to teaching and learning

A genuine passion for education and helping young people achieve their full potential
