RSW is looking to recruit a multi‑skilled maintenance engineer for a permanent role with our client, a specialist manufacturer based in Newtown, Powys. From preventative maintenance to problem solving on the line, you will play a key role in keeping their machinery running smoothly by carrying out maintenance, tackling breakdowns, and driving continuous improvements.

• A time‑served apprenticeship in mechanical or electrical engineering
• Experience in engineering within a manufacturing facility
• Proficiency with engineering schematics, both electrical and mechanical
• A methodical approach to working with impeccable record‑keeping
• Knowledge of power tools, welding equipment and precision instruments would be advantageous
• Computer literacy
• Keen attention to detail and pride in doing things right
