Electro-Mechanical Design Engineer Newtown 28701 £ We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering manufacturer for an Electro-Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in Newtown. This is an excellent opportunity to work on the full product lifecycle, designing and developing innovative electro-mechanical products from concept through to manufacture.

Shift: 38-hour week, Flexitime

Salary & Benefits:

Roles & Responsibilities :
Design and develop electro-mechanical products and assemblies from concept to manufacture Produce 3D CAD models, engineering drawings and technical documentation Design mechanical components and electrical systems, supporting product integration Support the integration of motors, actuators, sensors and control systems Assist with prototype builds, testing, validation and commissioning Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and control system issues Work closely with Production and Assembly teams to support new product introduction Support continuous improvement activities to enhance product performance and manufacturability Knowledge,

Skills & Experience:

HNC/HND, Degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or a related engineering discipline Experience designing and developing electro-mechanical products or systems Proficient with 3D CAD software and engineering documentation Ability to produce and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams Experience integrating mechanical and electrical components into complete systems Understanding of motors, actuators, sensors and control systems Knowledge of PLCs, CANbus, testing/validation or ERP/MRP systems would be advantageous INDENM If you are interested in this position please click 'apply'.
