Overview
The Rotational Radiographer will work as part of a multidisciplinary imaging team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered diagnostic imaging services. The post rotates through key imaging areas including General X-ray, Theatre, Fluoroscopy, Mobile Imaging, CT, MRI and Mammography. The role will adhere to professional, legal, and organisational standards while contributing to safe, effective imaging services.
Responsibilities- Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic examinations in accordance with IR(ME)
R, IRR, departmental protocols, and professional guidelines. - Rotate across imaging areas including General Radiography, Mobile Imaging, Fluoroscopy and Theatres, CT/MRI and Mammography.
- Adjust imaging techniques to meet the clinical and individual needs of patients.
- Maintain accurate clinical records using RIS/PACS.
- Contribute to out-of-hours, weekend, and on-call rotas as required.
- HCPC registration.
- BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent.
- Post-qualification experience in MRI.
- PGC in Mammography.
- Understanding of radiation safety principles.
