Health Care Assistant (Nights). The Oaks Care Home

• Pay Rate:£13.28 per hour
• Contract: 33 hours, 3 shifts per week OR 44 hours (4 shifts per week) available
• Shifts: 8am-8pm
• Please note this role is not eligible for sponsorship and is not suitable for 20 hours working restrictions

The Oaks is a luxury 73-bed nursing and residential home in Newtown, Powys. We’re looking for an experienced and compassionate Night
Health Care Assistant to join our team and play an important role in maintaining the standards that make The Oaks such a special place to live and work.

• Deliver high-quality care and support to residents throughout the night.
• Promote independence, dignity and wellbeing.
• Support residents with personal care, mobility and comfort needs.
• Monitor residents' wellbeing and report any concerns appropriately.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families.
• Work as part of a supportive team to provide exceptional care.
• Help maintain the Excellent standards The Oaks is known for.

• A night owl who is genuinely suited to working permanent night shifts.
• Able to stay alert, focused and responsive throughout the night.
• Confident working independently and using your initiative when needed.
• Reliable and committed to providing consistent overnight support.
• Caring, compassionate and passionate about delivering excellent resident care.
• Previous care experience is welcome but not essential, as full training will be provided.
