Overview

We are looking for a Cleaning Team Leader to join our Production team at our Tewkesbury site. This is a hands-on role where you'll lead from the front, set standards, and help ensure our site meets strict hygiene and safety requirements. As Cleaning Team Leader, you will oversee and support a team to maintain cleanliness across the Tewkesbury site. This includes factory areas, offices, toilets, rest rooms, and canteen facilities.

You will work closely with Production Shift Managers and the wider leadership team to ensure internal and external standards are met.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and support a cleaning team in a busy production environment
  • Carry out general factory and office cleaning duties, including toilets, rest rooms and canteen areas
  • Work as part of the team to ensure internal and external standards are consistently met
  • Manage consumables including soap, sterilant and PPE
  • Oversee washing, sorting and storage of company workwear
  • Maintain stock control and logging of workwear and PPE issued to employees
  • Communicate issues promptly as they arise
  • Follow all Company procedures and Health & Safety requirements
  • Carry out other duties as reasonably requested by your Supervisor or Manager
Qualifications
  • Proven and successful track record as a team leader in the cleaning industry (or similar busy environment)
  • Hands-on approach with a strong eye for detail and high standards
  • Positive attitude with high levels of commitment and motivation
  • Flexibility to work varying shift patterns and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team
  • Forward-thinking, proactive, and a "can do" attitude
  • Ability to work on your own initiative
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work to a schedule
Desirable
  • Experience of working in a dairy or similar food production sector
