Trainee Process Operative

Responsibilities

• Safely intake, control, and process products in a hygienic environment.
• Prepare and operate machinery (including CIP equipment) in line with company standards and food safety legislation.
• Monitor health, safety, and hygiene levels while maintaining clear communication across teams.
• Collaborate with other departments to troubleshoot and ensure an efficient workflow.

We are seeking a reliable, methodical individual with excellent communication skills to join our production team as a Trainee Process Operative. This role offers a clear and structured career path, including training opportunities to progress within the dairy industry. It would ideally suit a candidate who is already experienced in Production or Machine Operation - with a background in Food Production.,

Experience in food production is ideal, but proactive candidates with precision and accuracy in fast-paced environments will be considered.

Monday - Sunday

Hours:

37.5 hours, five shifts per week

Start Times:
Vary based on role - from 0500

• Start as a trainee on the external tanker bay, ensuring the safe, hygienic intake of raw milk.
• Complete practical, hands‑on training alongside studying for a Level 2 Food Safety & HACCP qualification.

• Progress to the full Process Operative role with opportunities to advance further as a Process Technician.
