Reed Accountancy & Finance are working closely with a well-established company based in Belfast who are recruiting for an Accounts
Assistant
to join their team on atemporary, full-time basis.

The successful
Accounts Assistant
provide an effective support to the divisional finance and operations teams and to liaise with group with respect to Accounts Receivable, Credit Control and Accounts Payable processes.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Assist with the setup and maintenance of supplier accounts.
  • Raise and process purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Process goods received documentation and maintain accurate records.
  • Support the resolution of invoice and payment queries, liaising with internal stakeholders as required.
  • Assist with the setup and maintenance of customer accounts.
  • Administer and reconcile cash sales transactions.
  • Provide general administrative support across the finance function.
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties associated with the role.

Required Skills &

Qualifications:

  • Ideally 3+ years’ experience in accounts payable and/or accounts receivable administration.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise workload, and meet deadlines.
  • Confident using a range of IT systems, with strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across different teams and departments.
