About the RoleThis is a key support role within our transport and logistics function. You’ll help ensure logistics run smoothly, documentation is accurate, and communication flows effectively between supply chain, warehouse, export, drivers, planners, customers and internal teams.

What you’ll be DoingIn the role as a valued member of our Transport Team, you will:
- Support the daily planning and scheduling of inbound and outbound goods.
- Liaise with customers, freight forwarders, and drivers to coordinate logistics requirements.
- Ensure accurate completion and filing of transport documentation.
Update systems (OMP, Webfleet, TMS, CHEP network )and maintain accurate data records. - Manage incoming calls, resolving or redirecting queries professionally.
- Communicate effectively across departments to maintain smooth operations.
- Assist with general administration, including reports, and documentation.
- Provide support to the Transport team during absence or busy periods
- Experienced in administration or logistics support
- Organised, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure
- Excellent communicator with a professional phone manner
- Confident using Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word)
- A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong administrative and organisational abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in transport, logistics or administration (desirable but not essential)
