Mechanical Supervisor/Site Manager

My client is a reputable organisation who have established themselves in delivering M&E services, they are known for their reputation on delivering projects on time, on budget and safely to a first-class finish. Due to continued growth, they are currently seeking a Mechanical Supervisor/Site Manager to join their team.

This is a Full-Time, Permanent position.

Working Hours:

Mon - Thurs 08.00am - 5.00pm and Friday 08.00 - 2.00pm.

Salary:
Negotiable dependant on experience.

Must be willing and able to travel in NI as well as requirements to travel to ROI and GB.

Essential Criteria:

  • Have a plumbing/heating trade background
  • Demonstrable Health and Safety knowledge
  • IT proficient with the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload while adhering to deadlines and working under pressure
  • Organised and disciplined in your planning and approach to work with strong levels of attention to detail in all areas of installation
  • Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team
  • Must have a clean driving license

Desirable Criteria:

  • Knowledge of Procore (training will be provided)

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Procurement of general day-to-day materials
  • Responsible for the control of labour and their coordination with other trades on-site
  • Ensure all installations are of the highest quality
  • Ensuring the installation complies with the latest relevant regulations
  • Meeting with clients, main contractors, and subcontractors regularly
  • Procurement and management of hire equipment on-site
  • Preparation of short-term lookahead programmes and inputting into the overall master programme
  • Provide regular reports on progress and performance to the Contracts Manager
  • Carry out site-based Health, Safety and Quality inspections
