MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting an MEP Co-ordinator for our client, a leading construction, fit-out and manufacturing company delivering high-quality projects across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced MEP professional to take ownership of MEP delivery across high-end fit-out projects, predominantly within the hotel and hospitality sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead MEP delivery across live projects and tenders.
  • Review project documentation, identifying MEP requirements, risks and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Coordinate MEP design with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
  • Manage MEP subcontractors and monitor project progress.
  • Coordinate MEP design, installation and commissioning programmes.
  • Liaise with clients, designers, subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Support procurement of MEP materials and subcontract packages.
  • Ensure MEP works meet health, safety and quality standards.
  • Manage testing, commissioning and handover.
  • Provide progress updates and reports to senior management.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in an MEP, M&E or Building Services role within construction or fit-out.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing practices.
  • Experience managing MEP subcontractors and project teams.
  • Understanding of MEP design, programming, installation and commissioning.
  • High-end fit-out, hospitality or hotel experience would be advantageous.
  • Strong communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
  • Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
  • Ability to travel to projects approximately three days per week, typically Tuesday to Thursday.
