We are seeking an innovative and passionate Computer Science Teacher to join our thriving secondary school in Colchester. This is a part-time role, working 4 days per week on an ongoing basis. If you have a love for technology and education, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Details:

Computer Science Teacher, KS3 and KS4.

* Location:

Vibrant secondary school in Colchester.

* Pay: £140 - £200 per day, based on experience and qualifications.

* Schedule:

4 days per week, ongoing position.

* Start Date:

January 2025

Responsibilities:

* Deliver engaging and effective Computer Science lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.

* Teach a wide range of digital and artistic genres, including Microsoft Office, Specialist Exams, animation, stop motion, podcasting, and Book Creator.

* Inspire students to explore the evolving world of Computer Science and develop their digital skills.

* Maintain a supportive and dynamic learning environment in line with school policies.

Ideal Candidate:

* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a subject-related degree in Computer Science or a related field.

* Skilled in delivering a variety of digital artistic content, fostering creativity and technical expertise.

* Passionate about teaching Computer Science, with a strong understanding of the UK curriculum.

* Flexible, reliable, and committed to fostering student success in a Colchester school.

* Experienced in using modern teaching tools and methodologies to engage learners.
