My name is Niamh, and I am the Recruitment Resourcer in the Essex office. I work closely with schools across Westcliff and the surrounding areas, supporting them with all aspects of their recruitment.

I am currently working with a supportive and inclusive school in Westcliff that is looking to appoint a Qualified Teacher (Primary or Secondary) with strong SEMH knowledge and behaviour management skills.

This Qualified Teacher role is a rewarding opportunity for a passionate and resilient professional who is confident supporting pupils with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. The position is available full-time or on Thursdays and Fridays, offering flexibility for the right candidate.

• Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that meet a range of learning needs
• Support pupils with SEMH needs, promoting emotional regulation and positive behaviour
• Implement strong and consistent behaviour management strategies
• Build trusting relationships with pupils to support both academic and personal development
• Work collaboratively with the wider school team to create a safe and structured learning environment

The school is seeking a dedicated Qualified Teacher who understands the importance of consistency, clear boundaries, and positive reinforcement when working with pupils who require additional emotional and behavioural support.

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Experience teaching in either a primary or secondary setting
• Strong knowledge of SEMH and effective behavioural management strategies
• The ability to remain calm, patient, and adaptable
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team‑focused attitude
• An Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one
