Here at Sense, we support people with complex disabilities to live the life they choose. We now have opportunities for Casual Children's Services Assistants to join our team in Jordanstown
, working on a relief basis with flexible hours to suit you;
Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, at £13.00 per hour.

You'll be part of a dedicated team working across our Children's Nursery and After School Club, supporting children with complex disabilities and complex needs. No two days are the same; one moment you might be helping a child learn a new skill, the next supporting them to connect with others in the way that works best for them. It's a role where your presence genuinely matters.

A minimum Level 2 Childcare qualification (or equivalent) is essential for this role.

• Warm, patient, and genuinely passionate about working with children
• Positive and caring, with a can-do attitude
• Committed to empowering children to live full, fulfilling lives
• Experienced in a childcare setting (desirable)
• Able to use British Sign Language, or keen to learn, with training and support provided (desirable)
• Willing to attend training and develop in the role

• Personal care and hygiene
• Making sense of their environment and accessing their community
• Medication and wellbeing
• Communication in the way that works best for them
• Their social life and behaviour
