Head of Finance

UK (Remote/Hybrid) | Salary up to £120,000

Are you a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)? Have you worked in regulated financial services (payments, fintech, EMI, PSP)? Have you owned UK statutory accounts, audits, and FCA-facing reporting? Are you comfortable as a hands‑on, standalone Head of Finance?

We are looking for a Head of Finance to run UK finance end to end, for a regulated payments business.

This is a hands‑on role where you will take responsibility for the UK finance function, covering statutory reporting FCA interaction, safeguarding, audits, and day‑to‑day financial control, while working closely with senior leadership in the UK and internationally.

• Own UK books, accounting, and month‑end processes
• Prepare statutory accounts and board‑level reporting
• Lead FCA regulatory reporting and compliance
• Implement and manage UK safeguarding requirements
• Act as primary contact for auditors and advisors
• Oversee safeguarded accounts, reconciliations, and banking partners
• Work cross‑border with Ireland and US finance teams

• Experience in regulated financial services (payments strongly preferred)
• Hands‑on ownership of audits, statutory accounts, and regulatory reporting
• Comfortable operating autonomously with full ownership of UK finance
• Calm, credible, and detail‑oriented under regulatory scrutiny
