Job Summary

As a Finance Business Partner, you will provide essential financial management support to various departments within Nottinghamshire County Council. You will work closely with service managers and budget holders, ensuring that financial requirements are met with precision and professionalism. Role Responsibilities
  • Monitor budgets and provide financial advice to service managers and budget holders.
  • Prepare reports and briefing notes to keep stakeholders informed.
  • Support the development of financial monitoring and reporting procedures.
  • Assist in producing statutory year-end accounts.
  • Offer specialist financial advice and training to enhance team capabilities.
  • Supervise Assistant Accountants/Assistant Business Partners, guiding them in their daily tasks and ensuring a collaborative team environment.
Required

Skills and Qualifications
  • A relevant finance qualification or part qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA).
  • Experience in financial management and budget monitoring.
  • Proficiency in financial software and reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data effectively.
