Role Responsibilities- Monitor budgets and provide financial advice to service managers and budget holders.
- Prepare reports and briefing notes to keep stakeholders informed.
- Support the development of financial monitoring and reporting procedures.
- Assist in producing statutory year-end accounts.
- Offer specialist financial advice and training to enhance team capabilities.
- Supervise Assistant Accountants/Assistant Business Partners, guiding them in their daily tasks and ensuring a collaborative team environment.
Skills and Qualifications
- A relevant finance qualification or part qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA).
- Experience in financial management and budget monitoring.
- Proficiency in financial software and reporting tools.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data effectively.
