Our client is a respected Practice supporting both commercial and private clients across Northern Ireland, delivering advisory services across a broad range of specialist areas. With a strong reputation and long-standing client relationships, they offer a stable and professional working environment.
Due to continued operational needs, they are seeking an Accounts Assistant to work 4 days per week
, supporting the finance function and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of accounts operations.
This role will suit an organised and reliable finance professional who enjoys working in a structured office setting and being part of a close-knit team.

Working closely with the finance lead, you will assist in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring finance processes operate efficiently. You will play a key part in transactional processing while also supporting periodic reporting tasks.
The role offers a balance of purchase ledger, sales ledger and reconciliation duties within a professional office environment.
Key Responsibilities- Process supplier invoices and assist with payment preparation
- Support client invoicing and allocate receipts accurately
- Carry out regular bank reconciliations and oversee petty cash
- Maintain up-to-date purchase and sales ledgers
- Assist with month-end routines and supporting documentation
- Maintain organised financial records and filing systems
- Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve queries
You will be detail-focused, dependable, and comfortable working in an office-based role. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your workload effectively across a 4-day schedule will be important.
Experience & Background Essential- Previous experience in an accounts or finance administration role
- Good working knowledge of Excel
- Experience using accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Professional and confident communication skills
- Experience with in legal or professional services environments
