VFM Analyst

Location: Ealing / Hybrid

Salary: £47,464-£54,000 (dependent on experience)

Contract type: Fixed term for 11 months, full-time, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday

DBS Level: Basic

Are you a qualified finance professional with strong analytical skills and a passion for driving performance improvement? Do you enjoy turning data into meaningful insight that influences strategic decision-making? If so, this could be the opportunity for you.

• Develop benchmarking models using publicly available data, regulatory information, and sector insight to create meaningful performance comparisons
• Design and document repeatable processes to support ongoing benchmarking capability within Financial Services
• Operate and maintain benefits realisation and savings trackers, typically using Excel-based tools
• Produce high-quality reports to support target setting, performance monitoring, and executive decision-making
• Support the Director of Finance Transformation on projects, often acting as a Finance Analyst
• Engage with stakeholders across Finance, Procurement, and the wider business to gather information and drive performance improvements
• Present insights clearly and persuasively to senior leaders, including Executive and Board audiences

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Strong analytical and data manipulation skills with advanced Excel capability
• Experience producing clear, insight-driven reports for senior stakeholders
• Comfortable working with complex or unfamiliar data and researching external sources
• Persistent and resilient approach, with the ability to work through challenges independently
• Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to tell a compelling story through data
• Collaborative mindset with experience working across teams to achieve outcomes
