Financial Reporting Manager (Fixed Term Contract) Annual Salary: £90k
Location:
London, hybrid working Job Type:6 month FTC Are you an ambitious, qualified accountant looking to step into a highly visible role within a fast-paced, international environment? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Reporting Manager to join a high-performing EMEA finance function within a globally recognised professional services organisation. This is a fantastic chance to play a key role in financial reporting, compliance, and process improvement across multiple jurisdictions.
Day-to-day of the role:
Lead and deliver month-end close processes, including journals, reconciliations, and variance analysis. Prepare and review management accounts and financial reporting to tight global deadlines. Oversee statutory accounts preparation across UK and international entities. Support external audit processes and ensure timely, compliant filings. Manage intercompany reconciliations and transactions across multiple jurisdictions. Take ownership of VAT returns and wider tax compliance requirements.
Partner with internal teams and external advisors to ensure consistency and accuracy in reporting. Contribute to process improvements, system enhancements, and finance transformation initiatives. Mentor and support junior team members. Required Skills &
Qualifications:
Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA) with 3–5 years PQE. Background in audit or financial reporting, ideally within professional services or a complex multi-entity environment. Strong experience in statutory accounts, VAT, and financial compliance. Exposure to international operations and multi-currency environments. Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, etc.). A proactive, “can-do” approach with the ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities.
Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships across finance and non-finance teams. Benefits:
