- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
- Support clients with mobility and physical activities, using appropriate equipment when required.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding according to dietary needs.
- Administer or prompt medication in line with care plans and policies.
- Provide emotional support, companionship, and encouragement.
- Assist with daily living activities such as shopping, cleaning, and laundry.
- Monitor and record changes in clients' physical or emotional condition.
- Follow individual care plans and report concerns to senior staff or healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment.
- Adhere to safeguarding, health and safety, and confidentiality policies.
May include shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Work may take place in clients' homes, residential care homes, or supported living environments.
