About The Role
We are recruiting Support Workers/Carers in Norwich to support people to live in and be part of the local community, within a supported living environment. Our services help people to get out in the community and make the most of their time in their own homes.
Support workers provide practical assistance and emotional support to enable individuals to achieve their goals and aspirations, respecting everyone’s individuality and enabling them to make appropriate choices to live the life they desire.
Support is required 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

General housekeeping duties that can include shopping, domestic duties as well as elements of personal care. As part of the role, you will need to be able to complete a range of records and documents, and work lone and as part of a team.
Responsibilities- Provide care at night – supporting service users with their needs throughout the night.
- Ensuring high‑quality support – delivered for people of all ages to enable service users to achieve their goals and aspirations.
- Encouraging personal development – helping service users develop valuable life skills.
- Promote the health, well‑being, physical, emotional, cultural and spiritual beliefs of the people we support and ensure they are met inclusively.
- Perform general housekeeping duties, including shopping, domestic duties, and personal care.
- Complete a range of records and documents as required.
- Work lone and as part of a team.

Preferred experience:
supporting people with learning disabilities and/or complex care. All training will be provided.
