Back End Engineer

We are looking for a Backend Engineer to join our growing engineering team. You’ll design, build, and scale the services that power our platforms, enabling our clients and creators to work seamlessly. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work closely with product, design, and frontend engineers to deliver high-impact solutions at pace.

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Node.js and Type Script.

• Implement and manage Postgre
  
  SQL databases, ensuring data integrity and performance.

• Integrate and manage queue systems, particularly BullMQ, for efficient task processing.

• Containerize applications using Docker for consistent development and deployment environments.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

• Implement and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.

• 4+ years of professional experience in backend development.

• Proficiency in JavaScript and Type Script.

• Strong experience with Node.js and Express.js (or similar frameworks).

• Hands-on experience with Postgre
  
  SQL, including schema design and query optimisation.

• Experience with queue systems like Rabbit
  
  MQ or BullMQ.

• Familiarity with AWS services and deploying applications in a cloud environment.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
