Senior Counsel - FTC,

Joining a small legal function and reporting into the Head of Legal, the day-to-day remit will include:

• Drafting, negotiating and reviewing a variety of agreements including:
  • NDAs
  • IT systems agreements
  • Third party supplier agreements
  • Intellectual property agreements
  • Sales agreements
  • General business T&Cs
• Acting as the go‑to point of contact for GDPR/privacy work as the business rolls out a compliance program across multiple jurisdictions
• Working closely with stakeholders across the business, including members of the C‑Suite, on a variety of general legal advisory matters

The client is looking for a qualified lawyer with at least 6 years' PQE although applications from all levels will be considered on merit. You must have solid experience of drafting commercial contracts and it is essential that you have an extensive track record of advising on GDPR matters. As well as UK qualified lawyers, interest from candidates admitted in other Commonwealth jurisdictions will be welcomed, as long as you have worked in the UK for at least one year.

You must be available to start by mid-May

Where a candidate sits within the advertised salary range will depend on their PQE, and quality & relevance of experience.

Sponsorship is not available for this role. You must possess the right to work in the UK of your own accord, to cover the duration of the contract.
