A look into the role

A big part of your role will be planning and organising daily delivery routes, making sure we’re making the best use of our drivers, vehicles and overall resources. You’ll also be hands‑on with our 12‑week preventative vehicle maintenance schedule, helping to ensure our fleet remains compliant, roadworthy and ready to go.

You’ll be at the heart of our operation, working closely with the warehouse team to make sure deliveries and recoveries are well coordinated and service levels are maintained. You’ll also support driver briefings and handle queries from drivers, customers and sales representatives, keeping communication clear and the operation running smoothly.

Alongside this, you’ll help maintain accurate transport and vehicle records and support compliance with relevant road transport and vehicle roadworthiness requirements, ensuring documentation including insurance, motor tax and CVRT requirements is kept up to date.

If you enjoy the buzz of logistics, thrive on planning and teamwork, and like solving problems before they happen, we’d love to hear from you.

Skills for Success Essential for the role
  • At least 6 months experience in an administrative or coordination role within a fast‑paced transport environment.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook

The attributes you’ll need include
  • Ability to plan and adjust delivery routes in real time, responding to delays, absences or vehicle issues
  • Strong problem‑solving skills, with confidence to make decisions in a live operational environment
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities and keep operations on schedule
  • Confident communicator, able to liaise effectively with drivers, warehouse teams and stakeholders
  • Customer‑focused, with the ability to resolve queries calmly and professionally
  • High attention to detail when managing vehicle records, compliance documentation and planning data
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and remain composed under pressure
