Part time Cash Office Assistant

Kennys Foodfare Newtownabbey store (beside Corrs Corner Roundabout), Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom

8-12 hours per week, 3 to 4 shifts per week of 2-3 hours per day (mornings) including 1 weekend shift.

• Prepare floats for each store tills
• Count and record all takings on a daily basis with 100% adherence to cash office policies to minimise the risk of financial loss
• Reconcile all transactions on a daily basis by completing safe checks and audits
• Manage/order change for stores
• Investigate any variances and discuss with Store Manager
• Resolve errors and queries
• Stock take cigarettes and scratch cards

• Experience of working in a cash handling environment, preferably cash/post office or bank
• Highly numerate and accurate
• Able to work on own initiative
• Track record of honesty, confidentiality and reliability in previous work history

• Cash handling accuracy
• Banking cash administration
