Solar Electrician
Based in Mallusk | Covering sites across Northern Ireland. Salary: £40,000-£45,000 per year + Private Healthcare (family cover) + Pension. Monday‑Friday: 7am‑3:30pm. Permanent | Full‑Time.
Join Solarfix, a leading solar PV and battery storage installer with a strong reputation for quality, professionalism, and growth. We’re looking for a skilled Solar Electrician to install solar, battery storage, and EV charging systems across domestic and commercial sites.
Your Day-to-Day- Electrical installation of solar PV, battery, and EV systems
- Work closely with your team (roofer + another electrician) to deliver top‑quality installs
- Follow H&S standards and ensure tidy, respectful job completion
- Use smartphone apps for testing, reporting, and communicating with office staff
- Travel from our Mallusk office to various sites in the company van
- 18th Edition (or 17th with willingness to update)
- 2 years experience fitting solar
- Full clean driving licence
- Good working knowledge of wiring, earthing, and LAN/Wi‑Fi setups
- Comfortable working at heights
- Clear criminal record & Access NI (or willing to obtain)
- Strong initiative, time management, and positive attitude
- Solar PV qualification
- Battery storage & EV install experience
- C&G 2391 Testing & Inspection
- MWEP, PASMA, or Telehandler qualifications
- CRM experience (e.g. Salesforce)
- £40,000- £45,000 salary
