Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency, has a new permanent position available for a Senior Practitioner within the Family Safeguarding Team to work full-time based in Hertfordshire.

Salary

The salary for this permanent Senior Practitioner role is up to £51,802 per annum.

Responsibilities

Provide practice development opportunities for your team and partner organizations.

Make professional, risk-informed complex decisions.

Provide statutory support to residents, including information, advice, assessment, support planning, and safeguarding in line with statutory guidance and council policies.

Work in partnership with voluntary sector organizations, partners, and others to provide integrated support to residents and families in the community.

Manage an allocated caseload to deliver specialist support and services within defined standards.

Recommend procedural, process, and service improvements to enhance team and service performance.

Recognize and monitor risk, escalating issues when necessary to ensure timely resolution.

Contribute to the development of organizations and services, including multi-agency settings.

Control team activities to meet caseload performance targets and schedules.

Disseminate organizational messages and best practices within the team.

Prioritize work and resolve operational resource issues.

Support budget control to deliver service priorities and ensure resource availability.

Provide specialist development or support to core/standard professionals.

Requirements

A professional Social Work qualification or equivalent.
Understanding of relevant legislation.
Registered or eligible for registration.
Good working knowledge of relevant legislation.
