HGV Class 1 Driver - pass

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well‑known and industry‑leading client based in Belfast (BT36). We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers to join the team on a temporary basis.

• HGV Class 1 Days: £18.24 per hour PAYE
• Start Time:10am to 11am
• Job Type: Temp to Perm
• Location: Belfast, BT36

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting palletised parcels to and from sub‑depots and delivery units.

Your duties will include:

• Safely handling and transporting palletised packages to sub‑depots.
• Completing approximately 34 runs per shift

• Ensuring all deliveries and collections are completed safely and efficiently.
• Maintaining accurate paperwork and delivery records.
• Assisting with loading and unloading the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck
  .
• Following all company health and safety procedures.
• Providing professional and courteous customer service.
• Representing the company in a positive and professional manner.

• Full UK driving licence with HGV Class 1 (C+E) entitlement
  .
• Valid and in‑date DCPC (CPC) and Digital Tachograph Card
  .
• No more than 6 points on your licence minor offences only.
• Good understanding of Working Time Directive (WTD) legislation.
• Willingness to complete a short driving assessment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A strong safety‑first mindset
