We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Warehouse Team Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and accuracy in all processes for our client based in Newtownabbey. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical knowledge of warehouse management systems, and hands-on experience with materials handling.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and materials handling to ensure timely and accurate operations.
• Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff to uphold high performance standards and foster a collaborative team environment.
• Utilize warehouse management systems, track inventory levels, process orders, and generate reports.
• Oversee forklift operations and mechanical equipment to ensure safe handling of heavy items and compliance with safety regulations.
• Implement process improvements aimed at increasing efficiency, reducing errors, and streamlining workflows.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, enforce safety protocols, and promote a culture of safety awareness among team members.
• Support inventory audits by conducting cycle counts and reconciling discrepancies within the warehouse management system.
• Collaborate with procurement teams to maintain optimal stock levels and facilitate effective materials handling.

Experience

• Proven experience in warehouse supervisory roles within a fast-paced environment.
• Extensive knowledge of materials handling equipment such as forklifts and mechanical tools.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems
• Demonstrated leadership skills in team management, process improvement initiatives, and safety compliance.
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks regularly while maintaining safety standards.
