We are looking for a motivated and reliable Warehouse Operative to join our Cross Dock Centre team. You will play a key role in ensuring products are accurately sorted, handled, and distributed to the correct routes while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and operational efficiency. This position is essential to supporting the timely delivery of products and providing excellent service to customers.

• Unload inbound trunk vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Reload outbound trunk vehicles accurately and in line with operational procedures.
• Transfer products safely to designated dispatch areas.
• Sort and distribute customer orders to the correct routes and locations.
• Ensure trays, bins, and products are stored and handled correctly.
• Follow all checking and verification procedures to maintain accuracy.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, security, and housekeeping.
• Identify, report, and follow procedures relating to damaged products and stock discrepancies.

• Previous experience working in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment.
• Experience with in a cross-dock or fast-moving operational setting.
• Knowledge of stock handling and distribution processes.
• Understanding of warehouse efficiency and productivity measures.
• Experience handling goods within a regulated environment.
• Awareness of damage control and stock reconciliation procedures.
• Familiarity with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) standards.
• Experience working with internal and external customers.

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required. 2+ years of experience in warehouse support, distribution operations, shipping, receiving, inventory control, material handling, or a related field required. Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), or equivalent certification preferred. Knowledge in fleet operations administration and transportation support processes. Knowledge in warehouse operations including receiving, storage, order preparation, shipment processing, and inventory movement. Knowledge in logistics documentation, transaction controls, and operational record maintenance.

Knowledge in warehouse and transportation systems used for status updates, tracking, and transaction processing. Knowledge in loss prevention, material handling, and operational control requirements. Ability to process routine and moderately complex operational activities within established procedures. Ability to identify causes of routine operational issues, analyze basic data, and support issue resolution. Ability to maintain accurate operational records and transaction visibility across logistics workflows.

Ability to communicate with internal and external contacts to obtain or provide operational information of moderate importance. Ability to support continuous improvement changes in systems and processes within defined guidelines.
