MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with an established and growing Accountancy Practice Based in Newtownards to recruit for a part qualified accountant or experienced accounts technician to join their thriving firm.

An established and growing independent accountancy practice with a strong reputation for delivering tailored accounting, tax, bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services to SMEs and individuals across Northern Ireland. Founded in 2008, the firm has developed a client-focused and personable approach, combining technical expertise with a supportive and collaborative culture. The team works across a broad range of services including statutory accounts, management accounts, VAT, payroll, and business advisory, with a strong emphasis on relationship-led client service and modern cloud-based accounting solutions.

• Competitive salary (£28,000 - £38,000 DOE)

• Preparation of statutory and management accounts
• VAT returns
• Bookkeeping duties
• Personal and corporate tax work

• Part-qualified accountant, ATI qualified, or QBE
• Previous practice experience
• experience with corporate, personal and VAT tax experience
• experience in accounts preparation is desirable
