THE EMPLOYER IS: BOYD RICE SOLICITORS To provide essential administrative and organisational support and gain hands‑on experience in a busy professional office environment. The role supports the smooth running of day‑to‑day operations and offers strong skill development opportunities.
Responsibilities- Scanning, filing, and digitising documents.
- Uploading and organising files in internal systems.
- Data entry and updating logs and databases.
- Sorting and distributing incoming/outgoing post.
- Maintaining office supplies and supporting general office organisation.
- Providing routine support across teams as requested.
- Assisting with simple correspondence and preparing basic documentation.
- Supporting reception when required.
- Communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Any prior office‑based experience though not required.
- Familiarity with document‑management systems.
- Experience handling confidential information or awareness of GDPR.
- Confidence using broader IT tools (e.g., spreadsheets or databases).
- Customer service experience (phone or face‑to‑face).
- Ability to work independently after induction.
- Basic understanding of health & safety procedures.
- Awareness of workflow processes and office policies.
