Location: Site-based in Buckinghamshire
Salary: £75,000 – £85,000 + package (DOE)
Start Date: Immediate

We are working with a leading commercial contractor currently delivering a high-profile, multi-phase commercial development in Buckinghamshire. The project includes a mix of office, retail, and industrial space with a projected programme of over 6 years.

They are seeking to appoint a Senior Contract Surveyor to take full commercial responsibility for the scheme. This is a long-term, site-based role with occasional visits to head office, ideally suited to professionals located along the M11/M1 corridor.

Key Responsibilities:

Full commercial oversight of a high-value commercial build

Procurement and management of subcontract packages

Budget forecasting, cost reporting and financial control

Liaising with project teams and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery

Contract administration and remeasurement duties

Requirements:

Strong background in main contracting within the commercial sector

Proven experience with large-scale office, retail, or industrial builds

Groundworks remeasurement experience is essential

Stable employment history and ability to manage high-value contracts

Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills

Qualifications:
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related construction discipline is preferred, although a time-served background with relevant experience will also be considered.
