Hunter Savage is proud to be partnering with our client, a highly regarded specialist within the joinery and fit-out sector, to appoint a Design Co-ordinator for their growing team in Belfast, County Antrim.
This Design Co-ordinator role offers the opportunity to work at the centre of the design and manufacturing process, ensuring technical information moves efficiently from concept and tender through to production and installation.
The successful Design Co-ordinator will collaborate closely with architects, interior designers, and internal production teams to ensure designs are practical, compliant, and deliverable within workshop capabilities.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded Design Co-ordinator with experience in joinery, fit-out or bespoke furniture manufacturing who enjoys solving problems, coordinating information, and contributing to high-quality project delivery.

- Review architectural and interior design drawings for buildability
- Ensure designs comply with project specifications and workshop capabilities
- Manage drawing registers, revision control, and approvals
- Issue drawings to production and procurement teams
- Ensure drawings include materials, finishes, fixings, tolerances and assembly details
- Track and manage design changes and variations
- Assess the impact of design changes on cost, programme and production
- Support value engineering and practical design solutions
- Carry out accurate site surveys when required
- Experience in joinery, fit-out, or bespoke furniture manufacturing
- Strong understanding of workshop processes and manufacturing constraints
- AutoCAD proficiency essential (Solid Works, Fusion or Inventor advantageous)
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior design drawings
- Excellent organisational and coordination skills
- Strong attention to detail with a practical problem-solving mindset
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Full and valid driver’s licence
