This is an excellent opportunity to support Key Stage 1 pupils with a range of special educational needs, whether you are experienced in SEN or looking to develop your skills.

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to Key Stage 1 pupils with SEN.
• Adapt learning materials to meet individual needs.
• Promote independence, confidence, and social development.
• Support the class teacher in creating an inclusive learning environment.
• Manage behaviour positively and consistently.
• Assist with personal care and wellbeing where required.
• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, parents, and external professionals.

• Experience supporting children with SEN (desirable, not essential).
• A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning.
• A Level 2/3 qualification in Education or equivalent (preferred).
